You can visit their interactive map to see if anyone has participated from your area, as well as read the letters, see what issues are mentioned most by students, and hear more about the activity:

What a cool site! I noticed that no one has posted from either Dakota--YET! I'll check back and hope to see some...The letters from other states are fascinating and reflect a lot of my own concerns...Thanks, Barb!
